BCI is offering Official First Day Covers to commemorate the United States' first-ever bat stamps! These limited-edition, collectible covers feature the brand new bat stamps and a cachet of a Mexican free-tail bat and Austin's Congress Avenue Bridge, home to the world's largest urban bat colony.
Autographed first day covers are also available signed by Merlin D. Tuttle, the award-winning photographer whose photos appear on the new stamps. Merlin is founder of Bat Conservation International and one of the world's leading bat biologists. As with all our products, proceeds from the sale of these covers will be used to further BCI's conservation, education, and research efforts to protect bats and their habitats worldwide.
This item is a collectible, BCI Official First Day Cover envelope bearing one of the four available bat stamp, cancelled on the first day of issue (Please let us choose your bat stamp).
